Is it really the same day?

For most of the procedures we do, yes: in by morning, home by evening. Some people stay one night, and your surgeon tells you beforehand if that is likely for you.

Who decides whether I need an operation?

A Wellome surgeon, after seeing you. Not the assistant, not the coordinator, not the website. Sometimes the answer is that you don't need one.

What happens after I message?

The first reply comes from an AI assistant, not a person. It asks a few ordinary questions: what's bothering you, how long, where you live. It does not give medical opinions. A care coordinator calls you after, tells you the cost, and books you to see a surgeon if you want to go ahead.

What will it cost?

The coordinator tells you the full price on the call, along with what your insurance is likely to cover. Nothing is booked until you say yes, and asking costs nothing.

Is the chat private?

The chat shows in your phone only as Wellome, and you can delete it any time. We don't ask for your name to start.

Where are you?

We operate at partner hospitals in Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad and Thrissur. Your coordinator tells you which hospital and how to get there when you book.

Do I need someone with me?

Please bring someone to take you home on the day. We tell you everything to arrange before you come.

Will insurance cover it?

Many insurers cover planned day surgery. Tell the coordinator your insurer and they'll tell you what to expect before anything is booked.
